For purposes of applicable data protection laws, GLOBAL LEGENDS LLC determines the purposes and means of processing personal information collected through the store, subject to the specific roles of Shopify and other service providers.

2. Personal information we collect

Depending on how you interact with the store, we may collect the following categories of information.

Information you provide directly

This may include your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, telephone number, order details, customer support correspondence, refund requests, product photographs, and other information you voluntarily submit.

Transaction information

When you make a purchase, we collect or receive information relating to the products purchased, order value, transaction status, payment method, billing information, shipping details, and refunds.

Payment card information is generally processed by the relevant payment provider. We do not intentionally collect complete payment card credentials where the payment provider handles them directly.

Device and usage information

We may collect your IP address, browser type, device identifiers, operating system, approximate location derived from technical information, referring URLs, pages viewed, interactions with the store, and information about how you navigate the website.

Some information is collected through cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies, subject to applicable law and your consent where required.

Marketing information

If you subscribe to marketing communications, we may collect your email address, subscription status, communication preferences, and information about interactions with our marketing messages.

3. Purposes and legal bases for processing

We use personal information for the following purposes:

  • To process purchases, payments, fulfillment, delivery, and order-related communications.

  • To provide customer support and evaluate refund or complaint requests.

  • To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the website.

  • To detect fraud, prevent abuse, and protect the rights and property of the company and customers.

  • To send transactional messages relating to purchases and customer service.

  • To send marketing communications where permitted by law and, where required, with your consent.

  • To measure advertising performance, analyze website traffic, and understand customer interactions, subject to applicable consent requirements.

  • To comply with legal obligations and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases as appropriate to the circumstances:

Performance of a contract: Processing necessary to fulfill orders, deliver products, process payments, and respond to contractual requests.

Legitimate interests: Processing necessary for fraud prevention, security, customer service, business administration, and improving our services, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights and freedoms.

Consent: Processing based on consent, including nonessential cookies and tracking technologies where consent is required, and marketing communications where consent is required.

Legal obligations: Processing necessary to comply with applicable tax, accounting, consumer protection, and other legal requirements.

Legal claims: Processing necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

4. Shopify and service providers

Our store is hosted on Shopify. Shopify provides the e-commerce infrastructure through which we offer products and process transactions.

Personal information may be processed by Shopify and other service providers acting on our behalf, including providers involved in payment processing, order fulfillment, shipping, analytics, marketing, customer communications, fraud prevention, and technical support.

These providers may process information according to their own privacy terms and our applicable contractual arrangements.

5. Shipping and fulfillment

Our products are shipped directly from China by third-party suppliers.

To fulfill orders, we may share necessary information with suppliers, fulfillment providers, carriers, and tracking services. This may include your name, delivery address, contact details, order contents, and shipment reference numbers.

We share only information reasonably necessary for the relevant fulfillment and service purposes, subject to applicable law.

6. Cookies and tracking technologies

We use or may use cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies to operate the store, understand website usage, measure advertising, and support marketing activities.

The technologies identified below are part of our current tracking and marketing setup.

Shopify cookies and similar technologies

Shopify may use essential cookies and similar technologies to support shopping cart functionality, checkout, authentication, security, fraud prevention, and other store operations.

These technologies are used to provide the services requested by the customer and maintain the website.

Meta Pixel

Meta Pixel may be used to measure advertising performance, understand interactions with the store, build advertising audiences, and support relevant advertising on Meta platforms.

Where required by law, nonessential tracking through Meta Pixel will be subject to prior consent.

Google Analytics 4

Google Analytics 4 may be used to measure website traffic, understand visitor behavior, evaluate page performance, and generate statistical reports.

Where required by law, nonessential analytics cookies and related tracking will be subject to prior consent.

TikTok Pixel

TikTok Pixel may be used to measure advertising performance, analyze customer interactions, build advertising audiences, and support advertising on TikTok.

Where required by law, nonessential tracking through TikTok Pixel will be subject to prior consent.

Klaviyo

Klaviyo may be used to manage email marketing, customer communications, campaign performance, and subscriber preferences. Depending on configuration, it may use tracking technologies to measure email interactions and website activity associated with marketing.

Marketing communications will be sent in accordance with applicable consent and opt-out requirements.

17TRACK

17TRACK may be used to provide shipment tracking information, display delivery progress, and help customers monitor shipments.

Google Tags

Google Tags may be used to deploy, configure, and measure website analytics and marketing technologies. The information collected depends on the tags configured and the services they activate.

7. Cookie choices and refusal

You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Depending on your browser, you may block cookies, delete existing cookies, or configure alerts when cookies are placed.

Blocking essential cookies may interfere with shopping cart functionality, checkout, account features, or other parts of the store.

Browser settings alone may not prevent every form of pixel or server-side tracking. You may also use privacy controls offered by the relevant advertising and analytics providers.

Where applicable, the Global Privacy Control signal will be honored as a request to opt out of sale or sharing of personal information to the extent required by law and applicable to the processing involved.

Important: The store does not currently represent that a dedicated cookie consent banner or consent management platform is configured. Where prior consent is legally required for nonessential cookies or tracking technologies, those technologies must not be activated before valid consent is obtained. The absence of a banner does not remove any applicable consent obligation.

8. Marketing communications

Where permitted by law, we may send promotional emails to customers or subscribers.

You may unsubscribe by using the unsubscribe link included in marketing emails or by contacting support@sonvare.com.

Unsubscribing from marketing communications does not prevent us from sending essential transactional or service messages, such as order confirmations, shipping updates, security notices, or responses to support requests.

9. Disclosure of personal information

We may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients:

  • Shopify and relevant technology providers.

  • Payment processors and fraud prevention providers.

  • Suppliers, fulfillment providers, and shipping carriers.

  • Analytics and advertising providers, including Meta, Google, and TikTok, subject to applicable law and consent requirements.

We do not state that all disclosures constitute a sale of personal information. Whether particular data-sharing activities constitute a sale or sharing under applicable privacy laws depends on the relevant facts, contractual arrangements, and legal definitions.

10. International transfers

Because GLOBAL LEGENDS LLC is based in the United States and products are fulfilled from China, personal information may be transferred to or accessed from countries other than the country in which you reside.

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, international transfers will be subject to the applicable requirements, including an adequacy decision, appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses, or another lawful transfer mechanism where required.

You may contact support@sonvare.com for information about applicable transfer safeguards.

11. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including order fulfillment, customer service, fraud prevention, legal compliance, accounting, dispute resolution, and the establishment or defense of legal claims.

Retention periods depend on the type of information, the purpose of processing, applicable legal obligations, and the need to resolve disputes.

When personal information is no longer required, it will be deleted, anonymized, or otherwise handled in accordance with applicable law and our retention practices.

12. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, and disclosure.

No internet transmission or electronic storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. We therefore cannot guarantee absolute security.

These rights are subject to applicable legal conditions and exceptions.

To exercise a right, email support@sonvare.com. We may request reasonable information to verify your identity before responding.

14. UK GDPR rights

Where the UK GDPR and applicable UK data protection law apply, individuals may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing of personal information, as well as rights to data portability and withdrawal of consent where applicable.

Where applicable, you may use a browser-based Global Privacy Control signal to communicate an opt-out preference.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable privacy laws. If you believe a child has provided personal information unlawfully, contact support@sonvare.com.

17. Third-party websites

The store may contain links to third-party websites or services. We do not control their privacy practices and encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing personal information.

18. Changes to this policy
